The aluminum profile market in Russia will grow by 1.5-3 in 2019%

According to the calculations of analysts of the DISCOVERY Research Group marketing agency, the volume of the aluminum profile market in Russia in 2018 amounted to 242,266.6 tons. In the first half of 2019, the market reached 123,936.4 tons. If the current dynamics are maintained, then by the end of the year the market will grow by 1.5-3% by 2018 data.

The aluminum profile market in Russia consists of more than 83% production. Therefore, the dynamics of production has a more noticeable impact on the market than the volume of imports and exports.

If we consider the volume of aluminum profile production by federal subjects, it can be noted that in the 1st half of 2019, the largest volume was produced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory - 17% of the total volume of production in kind. The Republic of Tatarstan is in second place - 16.4%, the Moscow region closes the top three - 14.2% of the total volume of aluminum profile production in kind in the 1st half of 2019.

At the moment there are more than 50 manufacturers of aluminum profiles in Russia, nevertheless there are undoubted leaders such as JSC Tatprof, LLC Agrisgaz, JSC KUMZ, LLC Alunext, LLC VMK Invest, LLC KRAMZ, LLC LPZ Segal, LLC MAK and others.

In January 1, 2019, Tatprof JSC became the leader in terms of the volume of aluminum profiles produced - 15.4% of the natural volume of production.

The volume of imports of aluminum profiles to Russia in 2018 amounted to 41,156.5 tons, and exports - 17,705.7 tons. At the same time, in 6 months of 2019, imports reached 19,073.1 tons, and exports 10,049.2 tons. It is important to note that the EAEU countries account for about 50% of the total volume of aluminum profile imports to Russia. In the total volume of imports from the EAEU countries, the main volume is accounted for by supplies from Belarus - about 99.5%.

If you pay attention to imports by country of origin, it will be noticeable that China is the leader in the supply of aluminum profiles to Russia (excluding supplies from the EAEU countries). Thus, in the first six months of 2019, 58.4% of the total volume of aluminum profile imports was imported from China.
